Navigate the planet by typing in an address that you want to view or using the Google Earth navigation controls. Make sure the satellite images in the application are the most recent available from Google by using the Check for Updates feature to update the software.

Why is Google Earth so out of date?
All versions of Google Earth and Google Maps use the same two imagery databases, 2D satellite and 3D aerial. Theyre different dates. Each product has settings that have to be right to see the different date images. Plus the historical imagery in GE Pro.
